rent-a-wreck
Yesterday, I made a horrible mistake: the forecast was for shitty weather, crappy weather, pissy weather, so I advised Trish to take the car. She parked in the lot of the Rosicrucian Temple Building (Cheri never graduated from the Invisible College) & walked over to the Iron Claw Credit Union to take out money for the car insurance. We went into the Perky Pam Layout, where Noncorean was being loud & Wayne was freaking out, headed back to the Tepid Coils. When Trish left for work, she banged up the trim on some lawyer's van. Cops in cars came (wish there were some topless bars in town) & took pictures of the damage.
Trish did get to work shortly & threw all her frustrations into it, but I had to call Fred to find someone who could come & just listen to music with me for a couple hours to overcome my fear & loathing. Altogether, though, we're probably just going to have to pay more insurance, & Trish won't drive any more until she sees Trish-uh! on Thursday & Friday. She'll have to work in the cold, but it will be worth it to have the Bumblebee Girl OK.
Then when we were listening to music -- our special friend -- Kimothy arrived, but it bothered Trish as she had wanted to spend an evening with me. I finally sent Kim home, & we watched the Buffster till bedtime.
Car-girl & I are supposed to go out today, & I have a lot of things to do with her, but I'll do them on foot if I have to -- she was sick yesterday. Food stamps are due tomorrow, & I want to pay our insurance in a timely fashion, though knowing with savage dread that the rates may go up.
